On Brand – 6 July 25

🍽️:

Mon – Hampton was away a few days so I got to putz around on my own. Used up a bag of frozen scallops and some frozen mango for a take on skewers from this list, plus a salad made of charred corn and sugar snap peas, avocado, pickled peppers, and leftover rice.

Tues – brothy beans and charred cabbage with bacon and some of the homemade bread from last week

Wed – pan-fried gnocchi with crispy prosciutto and Brussels sprouts

Thurs – the cutest little NY strips with fancied up boxed white cheddar shells and roasted cabbage

Fri – grilled jerk chicken thighs (thanks to my Savory birthday spice) with tostones and red beans

Sat – we finished Étoile (SO GOOD), then had a French dinner of mustard and lager-baked pork chops and a potato salad with charred corn and dill

Sun – my beans and cabbage were so good Tuesday, did another take for Hampton with crispy-skinned branzino

🥃: I still had some of Kirby’s rosemary/fig syrup and added it to my rehearsal tea to feel fancy.

🐶:

📚: Why yes, yes I do have too many books on my NetGalley shelf, but am still participating in their summer camp.

🎭: The first week of Baby rehearsals went swimmingly and there is another murder mystery on the books and another potential ongoing gig I hope to finalize soon. Stay tuned!
