I meant to share this weeks ago, but… whoops? So, here we go. Instead of doing the writing I should be doing for a paycheck. On a Saturday night. Good times at Flat 493.


Ann-as-salad 🥗

— watermelon radishes: rarely seen out and about here in Winston-Salem

— grilled shishito peppers: perhaps overdone, but also a fave for a reason

— buffalo shrimp: one more than intended. #whoops #countingfail #englishmajor

— baby carrots: my fave convenience food. And also, eff celery when it comes to buffaloed things. And also always in general.

— roasted brussels sprouts: #alldayeveryday

— Persian cucumbers: definitely more high maintenance than they think they are

— frisee: great hair [see Persian Cucumbers, above]

— kale: haters be damned

— Hidden Valley Ranch: Predictable. Not fancy.

— altogether… left of center

And all done in time to watch the finale of HELL’S KITCHEN: YOUNG GUNS in real time Bc I had Flat 493 all to myself that night.
