🍴:
Mon – Pork Chops with Mushroom Cream Sauce, wild rice, sautéed zucchini
Tues – arancini with last Saturday’s leftover shrimp scampi risotto, bresaola salad
Wed – Smoke City Meats filets for Hampton’s mom and stepdad, house mashed potatoes (plenty of horseradish pub cheese) and arugula salad
Thurs – brunch at Hampton’s sister’s and then linner with his extended maternal family. My only contribution to the day was the green bean salad I made the other week and am obsessed with — that I could also conveniently make Wednesday before we left.
Fri – Oven-Baked Pork Tenderloin with Dijon Cream Sauce (since we had cream from Monday), mash (because TJ’s frozen mash are a handy pantry staple), leftover green beans with parm vin — but warmed up
Sat – Christmas Lima Beans and Sausage with Pistachio-Lemon Crumble based on this, subbing the Rancho Gordos.
Sun – Frutti di mare with lobster tail from a Whole Foods sale and TJ’s frozen black tiger shrimp and herbed mussels, arugula salad
🥃: Happy “buy two Bublys, get three free” week at Harris Teeter to all who celebrate. Related — why yes, yes I am reorganizing our pantry.

📚: annual minimum book goal of 120 met! Finished out with a vaguely unreasonably dark British white lady thriller. It would appear the wine moms who are my usual reading cohort are desiring more and more evil. What would Mary Higgins Clark say.
🎭: I wish I could say this weekly post was late because I was so stuck in learning my SEAGULL lines.
