Theatrical Résumé

I have been very lucky to do a LOT of shows over the past few decades. Most of the time I’m the funny one, usually with a funny voice, but I do the occasional foray into ingenue world — more and more so as I get older, which makes no sense. Yay, theatre magic!

I used to think I was put on the earth to be the second coming of Ethel Merman.  As I age, I’m learning that I have this head voice with which I should maybe do something a little more legit, so I aspire to be like a certain other curly-haired belter with a career spanning the dramatic spectrum.  (#teamBernadette)

My favorite local roles include Judy Bernly, 9-5 (CTG); Julia Sullivan, The Wedding Singer (WSTA); Babe Williams, The Pajama Game (KLT); Miss Adelaide, Guys and Dolls (SGUMC); Betty Schaefer, Sunset Boulevard (WSTA); Sister Robert Anne, Nunsense (Barn Dinner Theatre); Morticia Addams, The Addams Family (Barn Dinner Theatre); Miss Hannigan, Annie (Creative Greensboro); the titular telekinetic teen in Carrie: the Musical – twice (TA, NRACT); and anytime I get to play opposite my husband in A Christmas Carol and various murder mysteries at interactive dinner shows with The Phoenix Theatre Company.
